1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using MedAI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and MedAI Health Technologies ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
By using MedAI, you also agree to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
2. What MedAI Is and Is Not
MedAI IS:
- An AI-powered health information and symptom guidance platform
- A tool to help you understand symptoms and potential health conditions
- A resource to help you decide whether and how urgently to seek professional care
- A free, anonymous service requiring no login or personal information
MedAI IS NOT:
- A licensed physician, nurse, or any form of healthcare professional
- A substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment
- Appropriate for medical emergencies of any kind โ call 112 or 911 immediately
- Suitable for mental health crises, thoughts of self-harm, or suicidal ideation โ call 988 (Crisis Lifeline)
- Able to legally prescribe medications โ any medicine guidance is strictly informational
- Appropriate for serious pediatric emergencies or complex specialist conditions

MedAI is not designed for emergencies and using it during one could delay life-saving care.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use MedAI. By using MedAI, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older. MedAI is not intended for use by minors. Parents seeking health information for children must consult a qualified pediatrician.
5. No Doctor-Patient Relationship
Use of MedAI does not create a doctor-patient relationship, a therapist-patient relationship, or any other professional healthcare relationship between you and MedAI or its operators. All information provided by MedAI is for general informational and educational purposes only and should not be construed as professional medical advice.
6. Medicine Information Disclaimer
Any medicine or treatment information provided by MedAI โ whether over-the-counter (OTC) or prescription (โ) โ is strictly informational and does not constitute a prescription, recommendation, or medical advice. You should:
- Always consult a licensed pharmacist or physician before taking any medication
- Never take prescription medications without a valid prescription from a licensed physician
- Inform your doctor of any medications suggested by MedAI before taking them
- Consider drug interactions, personal allergies, and your full medical history with a professional
- Not rely on AI-generated dosage information as the sole basis for any medication decision
7. Accuracy of Information
While MedAI strives to provide accurate health information based on current medical knowledge, we make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any information provided. Medical knowledge evolves, and individual circumstances vary significantly. AI systems can make errors. Always verify important health information with a qualified healthcare professional.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use MedAI for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Attempt to circumvent or manipulate the AI system to generate harmful content
- Use MedAI to obtain information for use in self-harm or harm to others
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from MedAI
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit MedAI content without written permission
9. Intellectual Property
All content, features, functionality, branding, and software of MedAI โ including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, the AI system's responses as formatted output, and underlying technology โ are owned by MedAI Health Technologies and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may print or save consultation summaries for personal use only.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. MEDAI DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, MEDAI AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES FOR PERSONAL INJURY, HEALTH OUTCOMES, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA LOSS, OR ANY OTHER LOSSES. IN NO EVENT SHALL MEDAI'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM (OR, SINCE THE SERVICE IS FREE, ZERO).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless MedAI Health Technologies and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Gujarat, India. If you are accessing MedAI from outside India, you are responsible for compliance with local laws.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page with a new effective date and displaying a notice on the platform. Continued use of MedAI after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
